thank you for stopping by!

Instead of saying welcome to my site, let me come up with something different.

It is so nice of you to stop by. How about I tell what you got yourself into. If you could please do me a favor, I'll appreciate if you continue reading.

In this site, I don't know if anything is special here. I am no special person. There is nothing extraordinary I can come up with. No special effects. Nothing extravagant other than the word itself. If you are to ask me why I did this. I will say, "To be honest, I DON'T KNOW." I have this plan about 10+ years ago that I wanna make a blog focusing on places I visited, that was back when I was still traveling. But now it is different. No traveling for years. So, I stopped writing, stopped dreaming of blogging. Until three years ago, I decided, maybe I should at least try. And I did, a free blog site. But after few months, things outside of blogging became extremely handful. I am not a superhuman, I don't know how other people manage their time so well, but I just can't, or have not found the secret to that yet. Don't get me wrong, I still don't have a lot of free time, just trying to make some. Before we go on with our chitchat, if you'd like to get to know me, find me here.

Now, what do I have here?

  • I am an immigrant, so I decided I will add my immigration journey. For when fellow or future immigrants(especially fellow pinays) stumble upon my site. You'll see, our journey wasn't an easy road but we made it, LOVE WON AFTER ALL.

  • Next, cooking/baking! Who doesn't like looking up (someone else's life, just kidding!) recipe from time to time. I discovered I could actually cook foreign dishes. I did not know my cooking would pass my husband's maarteng palate. Since then, I cook and he compliments. I even came up with quick and easy dishes from available ingredients I have in my kitchen!

  • A section for my crafts. My husband has tools. Occasionally he would show me how to use it, and he'll actually teach me some. As long as it will not cost me an arm or a finger, literally. Aside from his industrial sewing machine and his vinyl cutter, he also got me my own portable sewing machine and a laser machine. So, I wanted to show some here. More than a few will probably be my own idea, and maybe majority would be someone else's or somewhere else's. And I promise it will be legal.

  • Hopefully, eventually, a shop. I wanted to see if my creations will be interesting enough to sell. If not, I will be happy either way. Honestly, It'd be really nice if I could help my husband with the expenses in the house and other things. xP

  • Lastly, my randomness, pertaining to our home, our kids, our life and everything not under the sections mentioned above.

Wish me luck in this journey I have embarked. I am pretty sure this won't be a smooth ride, but I think I am ready(this time.) I got my finger's crossed, just saying.
